Family Trip 2014: Day 9: Our last day...

Day 9:

Today's the day that we headed home.  

Here are the signs we saw on our way to the freeway.

Thanks for the wonderful memories Disney World!  

We were in the car by 8:00 am and and got home at 10:30 pm that night...it was a 12.5 hour car time but with breaks and stopping it took about 14.5.  The kids were great!  We did travel tokens for ride home...the kids got tokens they could trade in for money to buy snacks at the gas station.  We also watched movies, talked about our favorite things from the trip,colored, sang songs, watched more movies.  We stopped in Savannah, Georgia again for a break and to make lunch again.  then we stopped about 3 hours later in South Carolina at a rest stop and played tag and switched drivers and then again at the boarder of North Carolina and Virginia at a Wendy's for dinner.    

  We had a wonderful time on this trip and made some fun memories!  A number of times on this trip Trevor would say "next time we come, or when we come again." I would remind him we probably wouldn't ever be back...but I love that we had the chance to go as a family!  It was just what I had hoped it would be and the kids loved it, we all loved it!
