Holiday Inn Time Share Presentation and Magic Kingdom
Day 6
What spearheaded this trip was that Nick had someone from Holiday Inn call and offer him/us a couple free nights in a Holiday Inn hotel in Orlando, Florida if we listened to a time share presentation there. So today was the day we got to do that. They had a daycare that Trevor and Jacob went to and Ellie went with us to the presentation. Not surprisingly, we did not signup for a time share...we told them we should probably buy a house first. After we got done with the presentation it was lunch time so we did the drive through at McDonald's.
So we didn't get to the Magic Kingdom until about 2 pm.
We decided to change things up a bit and take the monorail to the entrance this time.
Family picture at the entrance.
It was decorated for Christmas so the Mickey is made out of poinsettias.
First off, the iconic ride: It's a small world!
Next came Splash Mountain! We did this ride on Monday but it was a family favorite so we had to do it again. Nick and Trevor are in the front!
Then we explored Tom Sawyers Island.
Walking over this barrel bridge was so fun!
Snack time: Mickey Mouse Icecream or if you are Jacob a chocolate covered banana.
Ellie loved it, and was sure messy to prove it!
Then we used our fast pass plus to go meet none other then Mickey Mouse at the Town Square Theatre!
The kids got a little spending money so we stopped by the gift shop on Main Street once we were done with meeting Mickey so they could spend their money. Trevor bought a mini basketball, Jacob got a Buzzlight year Nerf gun, and Ellie got a set of Disney Jr. squeeze toys.
I didn't take pictures of the next few rides, but we went to Monsters Inc Laugh Floor! This was such a fun experience for us...Nick and I loved it. It is an interactive show where the premise is the audience is transported to the laugh floor at Monster Inc. Mike Wasowski tries to make you laugh so a canister can get filled up. Different people in the audience are put up on the big screen to make them part of the show. Well, Jacob got put up on the screen when the virtual emcee invited everyone to make a funny face. Then Ellie got put up on the screen as the character Boo! She loved seeing herself up there. The emcee tried to get her to play peak-a-boo. When Ellie didn't put her hands over her eyes Nick covered her eyes. The vemcee the commented "whoa, she has man-hands". It was so funny.
Next I took the boys to Stiches Great Escape.
Then it was off to Under the sea --Journey of the little Mermaid.

We had time for one more ride so we split up and Nick took the boys to Barnstormer and Ellie and I headed to Dumbo!
It was almost time for the Main Street Electrical Parade so we got a snack for the kids and then headed to find a place to watch it. As we were walking past the Mad Hatter's Tea Cup Trevor wanted to do it, he didn't do it on Monday, and the line was short so we hopped on..
Here are the kids eating their snacks getting ready for the parade. The electrical parade was so amazing....the floats were awesome and the kids loved seeing them all lit up!
Once the parade was finished so was our time at Magic Kingdom...we headed out to the ferry back to our van. The Magic Kingdom is such a magical place...we loved it!
