August Update...

August Update: Here are some things that we did this August, they are out of order...but enjoy!
Trevor loves his stuffed animals. One afternoon at the end of August, we spent a good 30 minutes just lining up his animals on the stairs it was so cute!
Also, at the end of August or beginning of September I can't remember exactly Nick and I took Trevor up to Tible Fork in American Fork Canyon and went fishing. We had a great time. Trevor fished a little, played in the dirt and threw rocks in the water. We were there probably about 2 hours and we were getting near the time to go and still hadn't caught a fish...but then Nick cast his line in and hooked one, Trevor helped reel it in. It made the trip worth it (okay it was still fun, but catching the fish made it that more fun)!!! We don't have a picture of the fish, but we got it on video. We told Trevor to touch the fish and he tried but chickened out. It was a great Saturday afternoon.

August 23rd was Nick's 30th Birthday!!! I had planned a surprise fishing trip with just he and I on Saturday but as we were on are way to Provo to have Cyndi and Brad watch Trevor, Nick had a kidney stone attack. Happy Birthday to him. We stayed at Cyndi's house the whole day while Nick slept, threw up and was in pain. I am sure this will be a birthday he will not forget. But on Sunday he felt a lot better so we had family over for dinner (lasagna his favorite, his mom made it--thanks Cyndi) and cake and ice cream and opening presents. (Nick passed the kidney stone about a week later! Yeah!!)

Middle of August...Nick and I got Raging Water passes this year. It was a lot of fun! Jeana and Rob got ones as well! So Jeana and I would take Brooke and Trevor doing the day with a lunch and we would spend the morning... and they loved it! A couple of times Nick and I went and these pictures are of the last time we went before it closed. I wasn't able to go on any of the slides because I am pregnant, but Nick could take Trevor on two of them and he loved it!

Here is Trevor ready to go!

Here are the two slides Nick could take Trevor on! Yep that is Nick and Trevor at the bottom!

Mom and Trevor

Trevor going down the slide in the kids section! He fell in the water, but he loved going on this one as well. He loves getting water splashed in his face. We hung out in this section the most. Trevor also loved the lazy river and the splash pad. He just loved running under the water and getting wet.

August 12th--My Mom and Dad came into town to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary! They were sweet enough to hang out with Jeana, Brooke, Trevor and I for the afternoon. We went to Liberty Park and had lunch and played in the water and rode some carnival rides. It was a great afternoon. (side story...when Trevor gets really upset and has a cough he will throw up. Well, this afternoon was no different on the way to Liberty Park he throw up in my car. It was gross. I am pregnant and had to clean up the mess so I throw up as well. It was a pretty funny sight to see. My car smelt like throw up all day. Oh the memories)

My Mom and Dad...35th years of happiness.
